Action/Effects:
Passilat reduces the effects of stress and provides a calming
effect. It is designed, as well, to compensate for dietary
deficiencies of vitamins in the typical everyday diet.
Contraindications:
Passilat is not recommended for pregnant or lactating
(breast feeding) women, persons with high sensitivity
to its components, or people with chronic
pancreatitis or enterocolitis. Not recommended
for children under 12 years of age.
Dosage:
One table twice a day with water at meal time.

Passion Flower (Passiflora incarnata) is used to treat neurasthenia, vegetative dystonia, sleeplessness, and hyper-nervous
excitation. In Passilat, it acts as an ataraxic
(tranquilizer) in treating neurasthenia (fatigue,
anxiety, headache, impotence, neuralgia and
depression), vegetative-vascular dystonia, sleep
disorders, feelings of uneasiness, and
overexcitement.
Hawthorn (Crataegus Monogyna Jacq.) is used
for chronic heart conditions--primarily congestive
heart failure, but also angina and arrhythmias.
Chemicals in hawthorn may act directly on the heart
muscle to increase the force of heartbeats and on the
blood vessels to relax the arteries around the heart.
It may also lengthen the time that the heart rests
between beats. Hawthorn is thought to work indirectly
by widening blood vessels close to the surface of the
skin. As a result, it may help to lower blood
pressure. Hawthorn is widely used in Europe,
North Africa, and Western Asia.
Valerian
(Valeriana officinalis) is used to treat anxiety,
restlessness and sleep problems (insomnia).
